Charmane Star
Star was born in the Philippines but she moved with her family to California at the age of 2. She moved around a little when she was young as her father changed his work quite a lot. She grew up in San Francisco, San Diego and Sacramento and she attended Natomas High School. She is the youngest child from a very large family as she has 7 brothers and 1 sister. Her sister was also in adult film business for a brief period under the name Leah Santiago but it turned out that it wasn’t for her.
Like the majority of porn performers she started out dancing in strip clubs and that’s where she met an adult movie producer that gave her first porn gig. Charmane made her debut in December 2004 at the age of 25 at Club Paradise in Honolulu, Hawaii with her friend and fellow porn starlet Teanna Kai.
Charmane actually became a nude model soon after turning 19 and made her adult film debut in 1999 but she left two years later to run a night club in Milwaukee in Wisconsin with her then boyfriend. She has said since that managing the night club was much harder than appearing in porn flicks. Whenever she wasn’t working long hours at the night club, she was able to do some solo girl photo shoots.
Porn star, model, disc jockey, night club manager and the avid collector of art that is Charmane Star has apparently dreamed of opening her own gallery or museum. This multi talented and terrific Filipino even co-hosts her own show, appears in music videos and acts in many mainstream films.
